In the UK, as in most countries around the world, there are sharp generational and gender disparities in bitcoin adoption and usage.
A survey published by Statista showed that UK men were three times more likely to own crypto than their female counterparts as of November 2022.
The survey also revealed a glaring generational gap when it comes to crypto ownership, with 18 to 34 year olds accounting for 58% of crypto owners, 35 to 54 year olds, 32%, and 55 year olds and older, a mere 10% [vii].
