Our founder and Chairman, Ian Cartwright, reflects on our growth as a company and shares his thoughts on the future...
2024 proved to be a milestone year for Cartwright. We completed an extensive brand review, launched our new suite of websites, and pioneered our way into new markets. And I'm pleased to say our integrated working style and quality of advice continued to drive the need for our buyout and windup expertise.

Your support and insight has been instrumental in steering us in the right direction, so thank you.
In the past year, we’ve taken on 12 new starters, hiring ahead of demand to ensure you continue to benefit from a seamless service.
We completed 15 GMPe projects for those clients opting to buy-in. This work has helped us develop a robust, end-to-end process for GMPe and we’re confident that we are ahead of many of our competitors in this specialism. Our speed and experience has meant we’ve also been chosen to complete standalone GMPe projects for some of our actuarial clients where we are not the current administrator.
And, as we continue to align with the evolving needs of the sector, we’re already preparing for the latter part of 2025 and the arrival of the Pensions Dashboard.
We also started a momentous new chapter for our business with the launch of new brand extensions as we look to expand our presence in new markets.
Your support and insight has been instrumental in steering us in the right direction, so thank you. Of course, as we continue this pursuit, we remain focused on building long-lasting relationships with our current clients and creating value for you in every way we can.
And, in true Cartwright pioneering spirit, this exploration into new markets saw us become the first UK pension firm to help a scheme make a small allocation to bitcoin.
Alongside this, we unveiled a refreshed brand identity; a representation of our evolution as a company and our commitment to continued growth, relevance, and excellence.
